Diploma Production and Delivery to Graduates Directly from Vendor | Diploma production (initial and reprints) is a very time intensive task. The Vice President's Office researched outsourcing the production of our diplomas in Spring/Fall 2018. A company was selected that enabled us to have diploma templates created and maintained that are industry standard. Further, this company ensures that each diploma printed is exemplary - no flaws! This has saved the Office of the Vice President's staff numerous hours of staff time. After having this company produce our diplomas over several cycles to date, we have determined that this company produces an exemplary product; thus, in order to create further efficiencies in the Vice President's office and in Admissions and Records, we want to have this company directly mail diplomas to students. Currently, the District covers the cost of mailing diplomas; consequently, the postage is not a new expense to the District; it is a shift of where the expense is allocated. |
