The Office of the Dean of Student Services works with Student Success and Support Programs, Student Equity, and Enrollment Management to provide quality educational support services aimed at enhancing student access, retention, success, and completion.
The Office of the Dean of Student Services provides leadership and oversight to the following departments: Student Equity, Orientation, Recruitment and Outreach, International Student Program, Assessment, Regional Testing Center, Counseling, Transfer Counseling Center, Admissions and Records, and the Call Center.
The Dean of Student Services office is a newly formed department (Fall 2015). Student Learning Outcomes have not yet been defined for this area. However, we are in discussions about what our outcomes will be with the appropriate personnel.

The Dean of Student Services Office supports the college in meeting its student achievement standards by providing administrative support for Counseling, Assessment, Orientation, Transfer Couseling and Admissions and Records. Furthermore, this office cooridnates the college's Student Success and Support Program Plan.
The Dean of Student Services Office works closely with Assessment, Orientation, Counseling, Admissions and Records, and a number of other Student Services offices to ensure students have the requisite tools and support for success. Our office supports the college in meeting its Strategic Direction and Priorities primarily by supporting the implementation and on-going support of Degree Audit and Educational Plans (Initiative 1.f.1). We support student, faculty and staff success by overseeing mass communications (including website messaging) to students, and by providing in-service training to management, faculty and staff (Initiative 2.a.1, 3, 4).

- Continued implmentation and support of the Credit and Noncredit Student Success and Support Program
- Continued implementation and support of the Student Equity Program
- Reconfigure new office space for improved functionality
Strategy 1 - Secure Office Space
The Office of the Dean of Student Services is newly formed within the organization. Our paramount concern is securing appropriate office space and ensuring it is properly configured to meet the needs of staff.
We have secured office space on the second floor fo the SAS building. We will need to redesign the modular office space to align with our staffing and the needs of the department.
No requests for non-financial support at this time.
The Student Success and Support Program (SSSP) and the Student Equity Program are the primary sources of fiscal support.
